Happy Thanksgiving Message and Song
Here is a raw one-take, unplugged version of a brand new song: “God We Thank You” It is inspired by the hymn, “Now Thank We All Our God,” which was written during the plague by Martin Rinkart. Rinkart was the only clergyman left in his city who could perform the 40 or 50 daily burial services–one of which was for his wife (hymnnary.org).
“With hearts, hands, and voices,
The whole world rejoices. God, we thank you,
God, we thank you for who you are.”
May God be with you and yours this Thanksgiving!
