Unplugged – New song “In The Silence”

We haven’t shared our new music with our friends and family for quite some time. So, here is an unplugged version of our tune “In The Silence.” This song was inspired by Rich and Emilie learning and practicing silence in their respective small groups at Friends Church in Yorba Linda, California. Also, there was a sermon by our former pastor that came to mind as we talked about writing this into a song. Elijah heard God speak. But, did he?

Did you know that Elijah was said to hear God, not in a still small voice, but in the literal silence? After earthquakes and fire, it was in the silence God spoke. During the darkness, we can see light. And, in the silence, we can hear God speak. Is it in the act of listening we have God with us, or simply that we recognize he IS with us? May God be with you!
