When there is noise all around us, we search for a God who speaks to us with sheer silence. Elijah went to the top of the mountain, felt the quakes, fire, thunder. Why would God put on such a display? Like light needs darkness to appear, the noise and ruckus around us give us an opportunity. Silence.

This song is a special collaboration with producer Kyle Kirkpatrick. Kyle is Emilie’s cousin (Rich’s nephew), so we are delighted to collaborate between Pennsylvania and California and between generations. Below is a video where Kyle share’s a bit of his process in arranging and producing “In the Silence.”
